My cousin just turned 30 and I wanted to send her a special card to mark the occasion. She is a pilot in the US Air Force so I thought this HK pilot image would be perfect! This card was one of my first attempts at using the Gypsy. It took me over an hour of trial and error and 3 You Tube tutorials to figure out how to weld the letters
a n d together to make
and! It was worth it though and now I'm somewhat confident that I can do it again! I used Gypsy font for the
and, Forever Young for the
fabulous, Once Upon a Princess for the
30, and Hello Kitty Greetings for the pilot and plane. :) Maria

What a wonderful project Maria! This should definitely bring a lot of cheer to your cousin! Great job too on tackling the Gypsy! I have GOT to roll my sleeves up and learn a little more about it. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOH my gosh, this is adorable! (And so much cuter than the card that I sent!)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card - and perfect for the occasion! Well done figuring out the welding. I'm sure you'll use this feature more and more. It's wonderful!

Great idea and cute card. I took me a while to get used to welding and all that on DS. Keep up the good work.
