Today my son started HS and Juliette started 6th grade! I am sad, the house is quiet, but at the same time the solitude is kind of nice too! I started out today thinking I was going to make an anniversary card and then got a call from my BF who had some amazing news. She writes fiction/romance and one of her books was picked up by a publisher. Woo hoo! I'm so proud of her and really honored that she let me read her early drafts. Needless to say, this card turned into a BRAVO for my BF which I will try and get it sent out tomorrow, after the glue on the flower dries!
